Hi, I’m Laura! If you’re a small business owner looking to bring your brand to life without it taking over your life, then you’re in the right place. You’ll find tons of articles, step-by-step guides, and downloadable resources to lead you through everything you need to take control of your digital marketing and design strategy.
When you’re ready to take your graphics to the next level, check The Template Shop, where I offer beautiful, easy-to-customize Canva templates for social media, email marketing, course and coaching resources, and more.
And if DIY isn’t your thing, then let’s work together to create custom-branded graphics that are ready to use! My design services will allow you to share your vision with me so I can provide you with exactly what you need to connect with your ideal clients. Whether you’re just starting out or you’re ready to bring your business to the next level, I’m going to help you spend more time doing what you love most.
I have over 15 years of experience working in a variety of industries and settings, from non-profit fundraising to corporate HR, a tech start-up, and (my personal favorite) a luxury bed & breakfast. Throughout my career, I’ve always been drawn to helping solopreneurs and small business owners discover ways to become more efficient and more productive through simple processes, automation, and focus. Given the opportunity to build and implement a marketing strategy from scratch for my current employer, I jumped right into research mode. I’ve learned a ton, I’ve seen firsthand how bringing focus to these areas can make a big impact, and I’ve loved the journey. I’m excited to share my real-world resources for success, so you can expand your knowledge and grow your business.
When I’m not helping small businesses move their digital design to the next level, you can find me spending time with some of my favorites: my amazing husband, our incredible daughter, and our two crazy cats in the great state of Maine. For fun, I love to travel, seek out new restaurants (and cocktails), bake, and garden (when the Maine weather permits).
